Introducing Ads Dora: AI-Powered Ad Management

We built Brandora because we saw the same problem in every D2C brand we worked with: marketing teams were drowning in execution. They knew what they wanted to accomplish — grow profitably, test more creatives, optimize their campaigns — but the day-to-day workload of managing ads, creating content, and analyzing data consumed every hour of their week.

Today, we are introducing the newest member of the Brandora family: Ads Dora. She is purpose-built to solve the most painful part of D2C marketing — paid ad management — by combining AI automation with human strategic oversight. This is not another dashboard that shows you data you already have. Ads Dora actively manages your campaigns, makes optimization decisions, and produces results while keeping you in control of the strategy.

Why We Built Ads Dora

Managing paid ads for a D2C brand in 2026 is absurdly time-consuming. A competent media buyer managing a single Meta Ads account spends 2 to 3 hours per day on routine tasks: monitoring campaign performance, adjusting budgets, pausing underperformers, creating new ad sets, testing audiences, and pulling reports. For a small D2C team where the founder or a single marketer handles everything, those 2 to 3 hours are hours not spent on product development, customer relationships, or strategic planning.

The frustrating part is that most of those daily tasks are pattern-based decisions that follow clear rules. If a creative's CTR drops below 1 percent for 3 consecutive days, pause it. If a campaign's CPA is 20 percent above target, reduce the budget. If an ad set has spent $50 with zero conversions, cut it. These are not creative or strategic decisions — they are execution decisions based on data thresholds.

Ads Dora automates these execution decisions while preserving human control over the strategic decisions that actually require judgment: which audiences to target, what creative concepts to test, how to allocate budget across campaigns, and when to scale or pull back.

What Ads Dora Does

Automated Campaign Monitoring

Ads Dora connects to your Meta Ads and Google Ads accounts and monitors campaign performance continuously — not once a day when you check your dashboard, but every hour. She tracks the metrics that matter for each campaign type: cost per acquisition for conversion campaigns, cost per click and CTR for traffic campaigns, CPM and reach for awareness campaigns.

When performance deviates from your targets, Ads Dora acts immediately. She does not wait until you log in tomorrow morning to discover that a campaign spent $500 overnight on a creative that stopped converting. She catches the issue in real-time and makes the adjustment, then notifies you of what she did and why.

Smart Budget Allocation

Most D2C brands allocate their ad budget evenly across campaigns or ad sets, then manually adjust based on performance. This is inherently inefficient because performance varies throughout the day, throughout the week, and throughout the month.

Ads Dora dynamically shifts budget toward your best-performing campaigns and ad sets in real-time. She monitors performance hourly and makes micro-adjustments that compound over time. If your retargeting campaign is converting at $15 CPA while your prospecting campaign is at $30 CPA, Ads Dora shifts budget accordingly — but she also considers factors like audience saturation, frequency caps, and long-term funnel health that a simple CPA comparison would miss.

The result is typically a 15 to 25 percent improvement in overall ROAS within the first 30 days, simply from smarter budget distribution with no changes to creative or targeting.

Creative Testing on Autopilot

Creative testing is where Ads Dora integrates with the broader Brandora platform. Creative Dora generates ad variations — different images, headlines, text overlays, and formats — from your product assets and brand guidelines. Ads Dora then deploys these variations into structured tests within your ad account.

The testing process is systematic:

  1. Concept testing: Ads Dora launches 3 to 5 creative concepts simultaneously, each with a small test budget ($20 to $50 per concept per day).
  2. Performance evaluation: After 3 to 5 days (or once sufficient data is collected), Ads Dora evaluates performance based on your primary KPI — typically cost per purchase or cost per add-to-cart.
  3. Winner graduation: Creatives that meet your performance threshold are automatically moved to scaling campaigns with higher budgets.
  4. Loser retirement: Underperforming creatives are paused automatically, and their budget is reallocated to the test pool for the next batch of concepts.

This process runs continuously, meaning your account always has fresh creative being tested and winning creative being scaled. The days of running the same three ads for a month while performance slowly degrades are over.

Audience Discovery and Optimization

Dora analyzing target audience for optimized ad delivery

Ads Dora analyzes your conversion data to identify which audience segments are performing best and surfaces opportunities you might miss. She looks at patterns across demographics, interests, behaviors, and custom audience overlaps to recommend new audience segments to test.

She also manages audience exclusions — preventing overlap between prospecting and retargeting audiences, excluding recent purchasers from acquisition campaigns, and building lookalike audiences from your best customer segments. These audience hygiene tasks are critical for efficient ad spend but are often neglected because they require time and attention to manage manually.

Intelligent Reporting

Ads Dora does not just show you data — she tells you what the data means and what to do about it. Instead of a dashboard full of numbers, you get actionable insights:

  • "Creative A has a strong hook rate (35 percent) but low conversion rate. The creative is attracting attention but the landing page or offer may need adjustment."
  • "Your retargeting CPA has increased 40 percent this week. Audience saturation is the likely cause — Ads Dora recommends refreshing retargeting creatives and expanding the retargeting window from 14 to 30 days."
  • "Your best-performing audience segment is women 25 to 34 who have engaged with skincare content. Ads Dora has created a lookalike audience based on this segment and is testing it with a $30 per day budget."

Weekly summary reports arrive in your inbox every Monday morning with a clear overview of what happened, what Ads Dora did about it, and what decisions she needs from you.

What Ads Dora Does Not Do

Transparency about limitations is important. Ads Dora is not a replacement for marketing strategy. Here is what she does not do:

  • She does not set your overall marketing strategy. Decisions about brand positioning, target market selection, pricing strategy, and seasonal planning require human judgment and business context that AI does not have.
  • She does not write creative briefs. While Creative Dora generates creative variations, the strategic direction — which angles to test, which customer pain points to address, which competitive advantages to highlight — comes from you or from Brandora's human strategy team.
  • She does not manage brand partnerships or influencer relationships. These require personal relationships and nuanced communication that belong in human hands.
  • She does not handle crisis communication. If something goes wrong — a product recall, a PR issue, a customer complaint going viral — Ads Dora will pause relevant campaigns and alert you, but the response strategy is yours to determine.

The Human Plus AI Approach

Ads Dora is one piece of the Brandora platform. While she handles the day-to-day execution of your ad campaigns, the broader Brandora ecosystem provides the other elements you need:

  • Creative Dora: Generates ad creative variations — images, layouts, and text overlays — from your product assets.
  • Social Dora: Manages your organic social media presence with AI-powered scheduling and content suggestions.
  • Human strategy team: Brandora's performance marketing specialists provide hands-on strategy support — reviewing your campaign structure, recommending optimizations, and helping you interpret results.

This combination of AI execution and human strategy is the Brandora approach. AI handles the tasks that benefit from speed, consistency, and 24/7 attention. Humans handle the decisions that require creativity, judgment, and market understanding. Together, they deliver results that neither approach could achieve alone.

How to Get Started with Ads Dora

Getting started with Ads Dora is straightforward:

  1. Connect your ad accounts. Link your Meta Ads and Google Ads accounts to Brandora. Ads Dora gets read and write access to your campaigns — she needs this to make optimizations on your behalf.
  2. Set your guardrails. Define your target CPA, maximum daily budget, and any campaigns or ad sets you want Ads Dora to manage (or leave alone). You are always in control of the boundaries.
  3. Review her recommendations. For the first 7 days, Ads Dora operates in "recommendation mode" — she suggests changes rather than making them automatically. This gives you time to calibrate her judgment against yours.
  4. Go live. Once you are comfortable with her decision-making, switch to "autopilot mode." Ads Dora makes optimizations automatically and notifies you of significant changes via email or Slack.

Pricing and Availability

Ads Dora is available to all Brandora Pro and Enterprise subscribers. She is included in your existing subscription at no additional cost — we believe every Brandora customer should have access to AI-powered ad management, not just those who can afford a premium add-on.

For brands not yet on Brandora, Ads Dora is available as part of the free trial. Connect your ad accounts, set your guardrails, and let Ads Dora show you what AI-powered ad management can do for your business.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Ads Dora require a minimum ad spend?

There is no strict minimum, but Ads Dora works best with ad accounts spending at least $1,500 per month. Below this level, there is not enough data for her optimization algorithms to learn effectively. For accounts spending less than $1,500 per month, we recommend using Ads Dora in recommendation mode and making manual adjustments based on her suggestions.

Can Ads Dora manage campaigns I have already built?

Yes. Ads Dora can manage existing campaigns, ad sets, and ads in your account. During onboarding, she analyzes your current campaign structure and performance, then begins optimizing within your existing setup. She can also suggest structural improvements — like separating prospecting from retargeting or consolidating fragmented ad sets.

What happens if Ads Dora makes a bad decision?

Every action Ads Dora takes is logged and reversible. If she pauses an ad you want running, you can reactivate it with one click. If she adjusts a budget in a direction you disagree with, you can override it. She learns from your overrides — the more you correct her, the better her future decisions align with your preferences.

Does Ads Dora work with TikTok Ads?

TikTok Ads integration is on our roadmap for later this year. Currently, Ads Dora supports Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram) and Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Display, and YouTube). We prioritized these platforms because they represent the majority of D2C ad spend.

How is Ads Dora different from Meta's Advantage+ or Google's Performance Max?

Advantage+ and Performance Max are platform-native automation tools that optimize within their own ecosystem. Ads Dora works across platforms and adds capabilities that platform tools do not offer: cross-platform budget allocation, creative testing with Brandora-generated variations, intelligent reporting with actionable recommendations, and integration with human strategy support. Think of platform tools as optimizing within a single campaign, while Ads Dora optimizes across your entire advertising operation.
